Estonia's air temperature to reach 11 degrees on Thursday
Estonia expects variable cloud on Thursday, with rain in parts of the east in the evening. Daytime temperatures will reach up to +11 degrees.
Estonia, the Baltic country north of Latvia, can expect fairly mild autumn weather in the coming hours. On Thursday the air will warm to as much as 11 degrees above zero, and in the evening rain is expected in places in the east of the country. The forecast was prepared by the Estonian public broadcaster's ETV+ programme "Aktuaalne kaamera" and published by the ERR news portal.
Night
During the night the cloud cover will begin to break up, although some light rain will still fall in places. Winds will blow from the northwest and west at 4–10 metres per second. On the coast the wind will strengthen to 12 metres per second, with gusts of up to 18 metres per second. Air temperatures will range from 3 to 7 degrees above zero, and on the coast they may reach +10 degrees.
Day and evening
During the day the sky will have light and variable cloud. In the evening, rain is expected in places in the east of the country, and sleet is possible. The wind will be northwesterly at 4–10 metres per second, with gusts of up to 18 metres per second. Daytime air temperatures will be between 6 and 11 degrees above zero.
The forecast covers the whole of Estonia and gives both night and daytime values. The strongest gusts are expected both at night and during the day, and in both cases they may reach 18 metres per second.
