Thursday to Be Mostly Dry and Very Warm in Latvia; Yellow Heat Warning for Riga and Several Regions
The Latvian Centre for Environment, Geology and Meteorology forecasts a mostly dry and very warm Thursday. A yellow heat warning has been issued for Riga, the central and south-eastern parts of the country.
On Thursday, 6 August, Latvia is set to experience mostly dry and very warm weather. According to the Latvian Centre for Environment, Geology and Meteorology, precipitation is not expected in most of the country, and temperatures will be noticeably high.
A yellow heat warning has been issued for the capital, Riga, as well as for the central and south-eastern regions of Latvia. These areas are expected to see particularly high temperatures during the day.
Although the rest of the country will also be warm, the heat warning covers only the aforementioned parts of Latvia.
