Thursday brings mostly cloudy weather to Latvia, with heavy rain expected in Latgale and Vidzeme

Meteorologists are forecasting changeable weather across Latvia on Thursday. Most of the country will see predominantly cloudy skies, with brief rain showers expected in some areas.

The picture differs in the eastern and northeastern parts of the country. In Latgale and Vidzeme, starting from the region bordering Russia, forecasters expect widespread and substantial rainfall, which could last longer there than in the rest of the country.

Residents in these regions are advised to prepare for wetter conditions and plan outdoor activities accordingly.
