Thursday to begin with thick fog in many areas

Latvian meteorologists are warning of reduced visibility conditions heading into Thursday. According to forecasters, haze will settle over many parts of the country during the night and into the early morning hours, lowering visibility.

Thick fog expected in some areas

In addition to the haze, thick fog is expected to form in certain locations, which could further hamper visibility on roads and elsewhere outdoors. Forecasters did not specify which regions would be most affected, but noted that the conditions would be widespread across the country.
