The latest round of transfer gossip suggests Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa, 28, is prepared to leave Anfield as early as January. Inter Milan, Lazio and Atalanta have all been linked with the Italian forward.

Elsewhere, reports indicate that Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, 26, would be more inclined to join Barcelona than Arsenal if he were to leave the Etihad, despite claims that Arsenal have the financial means to complete a deal.

Other transfer talk

Juventus are said to remain interested in Brentford's 22-year-old Italian right-back Michael Kayode.

Barcelona forward Dani Olmo, 28, reportedly has no desire to leave the club despite being linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Saudi Pro League sides.

Tottenham and Liverpool are keeping an eye on Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma, 29, who is out of contract next summer and could move as soon as January.

Mexico midfielder Gilberto Mora, just 17, would reportedly prefer a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona over Liverpool should he depart Club Tijuana.

Barcelona are also monitoring Germany Under-21 striker Nicolo Tresoldi, 22, who continues to perform well for Club Brugge.

Meanwhile, former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly planning to attend the club's Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain on 14 October as a gesture of support for his former side, which is currently going through a difficult period.
