Monday's transfer gossip suggests Chelsea are looking to secure a move for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott at the earliest opportunity, with the 23-year-old expected to join next summer. The London club had a £60m bid rejected during the recent transfer window.

Reports say Chelsea winger Pedro Neto is attracting interest from Arsenal, Manchester City and Al-Hilal. The 26-year-old Portugal international could be the target of a January move.

According to Bild and Sky Sport Germany, Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, 28, rejected offers from Manchester United and Newcastle United before completing a loan move back to RB Leipzig.

United States striker Folarin Balogun, 25, could move to the Saudi Pro League, whose transfer window is still open. Monaco are reported to be under financial pressure to sell after the player pulled out of a switch to Everton on deadline day.

Newcastle attacking midfielder Jacob Murphy, 31, whose contract expires in the summer, could be offered a new deal.

Former Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech, 33, has parted company with Wydad and has been linked with Brazilian club Botafogo.

England midfielder Curtis Jones, 25, says his conversations with Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu were key to his move from Liverpool to the Italian club earlier this summer.
