Coventry loan defender Mfuni from Manchester City for the season
Coventry City have brought in 18-year-old English defender Stephen Mfuni on a season-long loan from Manchester City, marking Frank Lampard's 11th signing since promotion.

Coventry City have completed the signing of young defender Stephen Mfuni on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.
The 18-year-old has made just one senior appearance for his parent club, coming on as a substitute in last season's 10-1 FA Cup win over Exeter City. Mfuni, an England Under-19 international, spent time on loan at Watford last season, featuring eight times in the Championship.
His move to Coventry represents the 11th signing made by head coach Frank Lampard since the club earned promotion to the Premier League at the end of last season.
Mfuni said he felt fortunate to join the club, describing it as a dream opportunity to work with a strong squad. He added that he had discussed his role with Lampard, who wants him to continue playing in his natural style whether deployed at left-back or centre-back.
Coventry currently sit 18th in the Premier League table after losing their opening two fixtures of the season, against Arsenal and Hull City. The club's next match is away against Manchester City on 5 September.
