CW Sports Live Programming Comes to ESPN on August 4
Starting August 4, ESPN Unlimited subscribers will gain access to CW Sports' live events including WWE NXT, NASCAR, and college sports, enhancing the value of the subscription.

ESPN and The CW have announced a new live sports partnership set to launch on August 4. The deal brings CW Sports' diverse lineup of wrestling, racing, and college athletics to ESPN Unlimited subscribers. This content will be streamed live via ESPN's mobile and TV apps, as well as its website.
Key highlights include WWE NXT, the final two races of the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, and a range of college sports. Additionally, starting August 29, subscribers can watch 140 hours of college football from the ACC, Pac-12, and Mountain West conferences. CW Sports has also secured multi-year agreements with Pac-12 and Mountain West, ensuring additional football and basketball games (men's and women's) each season through the 2030-2031 season.
While CW Sports also features niche sports like professional bowling and bull riding, the main draw at launch is the WWE and NASCAR content. However, due to competitive licensing, not all popular college games will be available. For sports fans, this partnership adds significant value to the already pricey $30-per-month ESPN Unlimited subscription.
