In a geopolitically tense period, when residents of Latvia's eastern border face new security threats that alter their daily routine, the town of Dagda is hosting the Architecture, Art and Music Festival for the second year. The event stems from an initiative by five artists who aim to highlight the role of culture in strengthening the state.

The festival serves as a platform to create a more active contemporary cultural life for local inhabitants. Organizers emphasize that art and music can be tools to enhance both physical and mental resilience in the border region. The second edition of the event demonstrates that culture can provide support in difficult circumstances.

Beyond entertainment, the Dagda border festival fosters community cohesion and positive change. Architecture, art, and music are used to give residents opportunities for self-expression and a sense of belonging, reinforcing the cultural fabric of the area.
