In the updated Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings published on August 24, Estonia's second-ranked player Daniil Glinka rose four spots to reach 156th place, a new career-high position.
The 25-year-old athlete's previous best ranking was 160th, which he achieved two weeks earlier. This marks a continued steady climb for Glinka, who keeps setting new personal records.
Lajal also moves up
Estonia's top-ranked player, 23-year-old Marc Lajal, climbed from 159th to 152nd in the latest rankings. Lajal's career-best ranking is 145th, which he reached on September 22, 2025.
Situation at the top of the rankings
Italy's Jannik Sinner retained the world number one spot. Germany's Alexander Zverev moved up from third to second place, while Spain's Carlos Alcaraz dropped in the opposite direction.
