South Africa national team head coach Hugo Broos criticized the Czech Republic's playing style during a press conference after their match. He described the Czech approach as very direct, noting that they are a physical team that does not enjoy playing football through passes. Broos highlighted that the Czech players are tall, making it difficult to contest high balls.

However, Broos acknowledged that the Czech Republic's tactics are a legitimate strategic choice. He suggested that if he were in the position of Czech coach Miroslav Klubek, he might adopt a similar approach. Broos also expressed that neutral fans would likely prefer South Africa's style of play.

Both teams currently sit in third place in Group A with one point each. South Africa's next match is against South Korea.
