9th Historical Reenactment Festival 'Dinaburg-1812' Held in Daugavpils

On July 11, the 9th historical reenactment festival 'Dinaburg-1812' was held in Daugavpils. The highlight of the festival was the battle for the Dinaburg fortress, reenacting an episode from over 200 years ago.

At that time, French troops approached the unfinished citadel, but the defenders of the fortress managed to repel the attacks of Napoleon's army. Festival participants and visitors witnessed the reenacted battle, recalling this historical event.
