The Detroit Pistons have bolstered their roster by acquiring shooting guard Isaiah Joe in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder receive two second-round picks in the upcoming NBA draft as compensation.
The news was reported Friday by ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania on his X account, citing unnamed sources. Charania noted that the Pistons have added an elite three-point shooter.
Last season, Joe averaged 11.1 points in 21.2 minutes per game for the Thunder, shooting an impressive 42.3 percent from beyond the arc.
With this trade, the Thunder now hold four second-round draft picks, giving them flexibility for future moves or selecting young talent.
