Nine Injured in Fourth San Fermín Bull Run in Pamplona
The fourth running of the bulls at the San Fermín festival in Pamplona on July 10 resulted in nine injuries, with five people hospitalized after a dangerous incident at the Estafeta bend.

On July 10, thousands gathered in Pamplona for the fourth day of the San Fermín festival, which featured the traditional bull run starting at 8 a.m. Runners from various countries took part in the encierro through the narrow streets. The most serious incident occurred on the sharp curve leading into Estafeta Street, where several bulls slipped and lost their balance, knocking down participants. According to the Navarra University Hospital, nine people were injured, five of whom required hospital treatment. The Estafeta bend is considered one of the most perilous points on the route due to the combination of high speed, cobblestones, and a sudden change in direction, often causing falls. The festivities continued throughout the day with children's activities, street performances, live music, and a traditional children's offering, followed by an afternoon bullfight. Evening events included fireworks, concerts, and late-night entertainment, extending the celebration.
