Dienas Bizness to modernise its digital tools with Recovery Fund support
The publisher Izdevniecība “Dienas bizness” has signed an agreement with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency on Recovery Fund support for modernising media processes. The project covers the digital transformation of DIENAS BIZNESS and DIENAS ŽURNĀLI.
On 9 January 2025, SIA “Izdevniecība “Dienas bizness”” signed an agreement with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency. The agreement number is 2.2.1.5.i.0/1/24/A/CFLA/004. It provides support under the measure “Modernisation of processes of media sector companies”, financed by the Recovery Fund.
Aim of the project
The project is meant to deliver the digital transformation of the publications DIENAS BIZNESS and DIENAS ŽURNĀLI. Its purpose is to adapt to current media usage habits and to encourage interaction between the opportunities offered by digital and print media.
Planned results
By 30 June 2025, two digital solutions are to be introduced, namely customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
By 30 June 2026, the company is to launch two mobile applications and two Smart TV applications. It must also expand the functionality of its existing platforms, including the Dienas subscription system (DAS).
