Dienas Bizness Receives Recovery Fund Support for Digital Transformation
The publisher SIA “Izdevniecība “Dienas bizness”” signed a contract on 9 January 2025 with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency for Recovery Fund support to digitally transform DIENAS BIZNESS and DIENAS ŽURNĀLI. Several digital solutions are due by 30 June 2026.
The publishing company SIA “Izdevniecība “Dienas bizness”” signed a contract with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency on 9 January 2025. The agreement covers support under the measure “Modernisation of Media Sector Company Processes”. The funding comes from the Recovery Fund and is intended for the digital transformation of the publications DIENAS BIZNESS and DIENAS ŽURNĀLI.
Project aim
The project is meant to adapt both publications to present-day media consumption habits. It also aims to encourage interaction between the opportunities offered by digital and print media. The contract is registered under number 2.2.1.5.i.0/1/24/A/CFLA/004.
Expected results
Two deadlines have been set. By 30 June 2025, two digital solutions must be in place, namely customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
By 30 June 2026, two mobile applications and two Smart TV applications must be launched. During this stage, the functionality of existing platforms must also be expanded, including the Dienas subscription system (DAS).
