"Dienas Bizness" receives Recovery Fund support for digital transformation
In January 2025, publisher SIA "Izdevniecība "Dienas bizness"" signed a contract with Latvia's Central Finance and Contracting Agency for support in modernizing its media processes. The project aims to introduce new CRM systems, mobile apps and Smart TV apps.
On January 9, 2025, SIA "Izdevniecība "Dienas bizness"" signed a contract with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFLA) to receive support under the measure "Modernization of processes at media sector companies," financed by the Recovery Fund.
The goal of the project is to carry out digital transformation of the "Dienas bizness" and "Dienas žurnāli" publications, adapting them to modern media consumption habits and strengthening the interaction between digital and print media offerings.
Planned milestones
Under the contract, two digital solutions — customer relationship management (CRM) systems — were to be implemented by June 30, 2025.
By June 30, 2026, the plan calls for launching two mobile applications and two Smart TV applications, as well as expanding the functionality of existing platforms, including the Dienas subscription system (DAS).
The announcement of the signed contract was published on January 9, 2025.
