Dienas Bizness to receive Recovery Fund support for digital transformation
Publisher of Dienas Bizness has signed an agreement with Latvia's Central Finance and Contracting Agency for support in modernizing media processes. The project will introduce new digital platforms and applications.
SIA "Izdevniecība "Dienas bizness"" signed an agreement on January 9, 2025, with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFLA) to receive support under the "Modernization of media sector company processes" measure, financed by the Recovery Fund.
The project's goal is to carry out the digital transformation of the DIENAS BIZNESS and DIENAS ŽURNĀLI publications, adapting to modern media consumption habits and strengthening the interaction between digital and print media channels.
Planned outcomes
The project sets out two main deadlines. By June 30, 2025, two digital solutions — customer relationship management (CRM) systems — were to be implemented.
By June 30, 2026, the plan is to launch two mobile applications and two Smart TV applications, as well as expand the functionality of existing platforms, including improvements to the Dienas subscription system (DAS).
