Latvian basketball player Digna Strautmane plays in the strong Polish championship and has been combining appearances for two Latvian national teams — 3x3 and traditional basketball — for more than a year. She says the 3x3 format helped her regain an aggressive playing style after an injury.

Digna Strautmane, a Latvian basketball player, currently plays in the strong Polish championship and serves as captain of her club. For more than a year, she has been successfully combining appearances for two Latvian national teams: the 3x3 team and the traditional basketball team.
In an interview with LSM.lv, Strautmane said that the 3x3 format helped her regain her aggressive style of play after a serious injury. It also taught her to make decisions faster, which allowed her to be more productive on the big court as well. The skills she gained in 3x3 have had a positive effect on her performance in the traditional format.
At club level, Strautmane continues to develop in Poland while remaining active with both Latvian national teams. She has been successfully managing this combination for more than a year.
