Mysterious noises in attic turn out to be bats – video sparks viral reaction

A homeowner on the social media platform Threads has shared footage of unexpected tenants in his attic. The man said he first heard unfamiliar sounds coming from above and decided to install a surveillance camera to figure out what was making them. The resulting video shows bats that have apparently made themselves at home in the building.

In a witty caption, the homeowner wrote that the visitors looked like guests from Transylvania. The clip prompted a wave of reactions, with commenters playing along with the vampire theme while also pointing out the benefits of having bats around. One person noted that bats can eat a huge number of mosquitoes in a single night, suggesting the man should be grateful.
