Two European punk musicians appear on France 24's culture show
The France 24 culture programme arts24 hosts Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, singer of Danish post-punk band Iceage, and Chris Hughes of British band Fat Dog. Both acts are currently touring Europe.
This week's edition of arts24, the culture programme of French international news channel France 24, is devoted to two European punk acts. The guests are Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, singer with Danish post-punk band Iceage, and Chris Hughes of British band Fat Dog.
Iceage come from Copenhagen, the Danish capital, and the programme describes them as the city's finest post-punk export. The group is currently touring Europe. Rønnenfelt is stopping in Paris this week to play a solo set at the Pitchfork music festival.
Fat Dog and their new album
Fat Dog formed in South London in 2020, during the pandemic lockdown. The band has just released its second album, "Cancel Me (I'm Tired)". According to the programme's description, the record should appeal to synth fans and punk rockers alike.
Fat Dog are now touring France and elsewhere in Europe, and Hughes talks about the group and the new release on the show.
The episode was published on 2 November 2026 and runs for just over eleven minutes. It brings together two different bands that are both on the road across European venues and festivals.
