Two dead, six injured in road accidents in Estonia over 24 hours
Several serious traffic accidents occurred in Estonia over the past day, leaving two people dead and six injured, with the most severe crash in Rapla county claiming two lives. Police are investigating the circumstances of all incidents.

Over the past 24 hours, Estonia has seen several serious road traffic accidents resulting in two deaths and six injuries. The most severe crash occurred on June 12 at 14:37 in the village of Ingliste, Kehtna parish, Rapla county. According to police, a 77-year-old woman driving a Toyota Yaris Cross failed to yield to a Scania truck traveling on the main road. The collision killed the driver and her 77-year-old female passenger on the spot, while a 75-year-old male passenger was taken to the hospital.
On the same day, around 15:20 in Harku parish near Tallinn, a child was hit. At the intersection of Sytemetsa, Alasniidu, and Niidu roads, an 18-year-old driver of a Kia struck a five-year-old boy who was crossing the pedestrian crossing. The child was hospitalized.
Another accident occurred around 16:30 in Tallinn on Tulika Street. A Mercedes-Benz driven by a 69-year-old man collided with a Hyundai that was completing a left turn from the main road. The Mercedes driver and his 54-year-old female passenger were taken to the hospital.
Late in the evening, on the 42nd kilometer of the Tallinn–Narva highway, an 18-year-old BMW driver rear-ended a Peugeot Boxer van. The young driver sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Police are investigating the circumstances of all accidents.
