Dobele municipality has launched its annual “Dobele Municipality Business of the Year” competition, with nominations for 2026 achievements accepted until October 21.

The Dobele municipal council has launched its annual competition “Dobele Municipality Business of the Year.” Local residents and businesses can nominate candidates for 2026 achievements until October 21.
Nine categories
Entries can be submitted in nine categories: Manufacturer of the Year, Farmer of the Year, Service Provider of the Year, Craftsman/Home Producer of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Investment of the Year, Employer of the Year, Business of the Year in Promoting Social Goals, and Student Company of the Year — all within Dobele municipality.
Purpose and eligibility
The competition aims to identify and honor local entrepreneurs who work actively and honestly in their fields, contributing to the development of the business environment in the municipality. It also serves to showcase examples of good business practices to the wider public.
Nominations are not limited to residents and entrepreneurs of Dobele municipality — people and companies from other municipalities may also submit candidates.
The competition is organized by the Dobele Adult Education and Business Support Centre.
