Minister Dombrava Adds Several People to Latvia's 'Blacklist' Since Taking Office

Interior Minister Jānis Dombrava (National Alliance) has included several persons on the so-called 'blacklist' – the official register of foreigners prohibited from entering Latvia – since he took office. The ministry has not disclosed specific names or reasons for the inclusions.

Dombrava has used his authority over border control and national security to update the list. The exact number and nationalities of those added remain undisclosed. Dombrava assumed the position in early 2026 and has since made changes to the list, which is regularly updated.
