Dons releases most personal album “Tuvums” and prepares for big concert
Latvian musician Dons has released his new studio album “Tuvums” (Part I), described as his most personal record to date, created with an international team. Preparations are underway for his concert at Daugavas Stadium in August.

Latvian musician Dons (Artūrs Šingirejs) has unveiled his latest studio album “Tuvums” (Part I), which he calls the most personal release of his career. The album was recorded over several months in Latvia, Germany, and England, with contributions from producers and songwriters DJ Rudd, Kristofer Harris, Kim W, and Chris Noah.
Alongside the album, the single “Sirdsbalss” has been released. Dons explains that the song is about the inner voice that constantly speaks to us, and whether we choose to listen to it is our own decision.
Dons describes the album as deeply personal, with each song containing emotions and stories that took time to find their proper sound. He expresses satisfaction in completing this chapter but notes that the story continues, as the second part of the album is already in the works.
Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing for the grand concert “Tuvums,” scheduled for August 15 at Daugavas Stadium. This concert is expected to be Dons’ most ambitious yet, with the team working to create a special and emotional experience. The setlist will include songs from the new album as well as fan favorites, and Dons promises musical surprises.
Joining Dons on stage will be special guests, and the evening will be opened by the Latvian band “Kaut Kaili”.
