Draymond Green Returns to Warriors on One-Year, $27.7 Million Deal
The Golden State Warriors have agreed to a one-year, $27.7 million contract with Draymond Green, bringing him back to the team after he opted out in June to give the Warriors flexibility to pursue LeBron James.

The Golden State Warriors, the NBA team that includes Latvian star Kristaps Porzingis, have reached an agreement with Draymond Green for his return. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, citing Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul, Green has agreed to a one-year contract worth $27.7 million.
This amount matches the final year of his previous deal, which he opted out of in late June to allow the Warriors financial flexibility to try to acquire LeBron James. After James signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Warriors quickly finalized Green's return on Tuesday. The one-year contract ensures that the veteran forward will continue to play alongside Porzingis in Golden State.
