During the night of July 18, a drone attack targeted occupied Crimea, with multiple explosions reported across the peninsula. According to "Krymskyi Veter," over 20 explosions were heard in the area of Gvardiyske. Local residents reported secondary detonations and a glow in the sky, indicating a possible fire at the airfield.

Explosions were also heard in various districts of Sevastopol, with sources suggesting the Balaklava thermal power plant may have been hit. Additionally, blasts were reported in Feodosia and Kerch.

The attack is part of Ukraine's ongoing campaign against energy infrastructure in occupied Crimea. The power supply situation on the peninsula has deteriorated significantly, with regions regularly experiencing blackouts often lasting several days. In most areas, there are no scheduled blackout plans.

Details on the extent of damage and casualties are still being clarified. The occupation authorities have not yet issued an official statement.
