International Ballet Chamber Festival «Kurzemes Classic» returns to Durbe Castle
At the end of June, the courtyard of Durbe Castle will host the fourth edition of the International Ballet Chamber Festival «Kurzemes Classic», blending classical music and dance over two days.
On the last weekend of June – 26 and 27 June – the courtyard of Durbe Castle will become a meeting point for classical music and dance. For the fourth time, the International Ballet Chamber Festival «Kurzemes Classic 2026» will bring together outstanding artists and young talents from Latvia and other European countries, offering a two-day programme in a historic setting, according to festival organisers.
The festival programme is designed to give audiences a chance to enjoy both professional ballet performances and chamber ensemble pieces. The historic courtyard of Durbe Castle provides a unique atmosphere that enhances the artistic experience. Organisers emphasise that the event is important not only as a cultural occasion but also as a platform for nurturing new talent.
