According to the local government, around 11 PM on July 21, the water mass arrived at Jaunpļavas and the area around the Dursupe bridge. The water level at the bridge peaked at 3.5 meters, flooding the municipal road Ezernieki-Jaunpļavas-Rindzele near the bridge. Emergency services are monitoring the situation and urge drivers to be cautious, follow traffic restrictions, and use alternative routes.

Earlier, heavy rainfall caused the Dursupe mill pond in Talsi municipality to overflow, washing out several local roads. Three road sections in the Talsi area are now closed, with traffic redirected. The affected Talsi municipality plans to assess damages within a week and request government assistance. Residents near the Dursupe area should expect inconvenience when using detours.
