Dwayne Johnson Reveals He Waited for Cancer Test Results While Smiling for Cameras
Actor Dwayne Johnson admitted that earlier this year during the promotional campaign for “Jumanji,” he lived in uncertainty over a possible cancer diagnosis, but tests confirmed only a treatable inflammation.

Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson has shared a troubling episode from his life in an interview with Esquire magazine. Early this year, the actor noticed a suspicious lump on his body and visited a doctor before a planned trip to Las Vegas. The physician said it was likely epididymitis – an inflammation of the epididymis – but could not rule out cancer.
At that time, Johnson was scheduled to attend the industry conference CinemaCon in Las Vegas for the “Jumanji” promotional events. Although the doctor recommended an ultrasound the next morning, the actor had to spend the entire day until the results were known in front of the public – smiling, joking, and performing as if nothing was wrong.
Fortunately, the tests did not show a malignant tumor. It was only epididymitis – an unpleasant but treatable condition. Johnson has confirmed that his health is now fine.
