Latvian kickboxer Zaur Dzavadov has shared his perspective on sport, career and life in an interview with Apollo.lv. In fights and in the ring, he is described as a combative and aggressive athlete whose primary goal is to defeat his opponent. However, away from competition, Dzavadov positions himself differently – as a family man, a father and a coach.

During the conversation, the athlete emphasised that he has truly fallen in love with kickboxing and wants his own name and that of Latvia to be heard internationally. Dzavadov also spoke about the reality of kickboxing and the real challenges he has faced on his professional path. Despite the difficulties, he stated that he would not change the direction he has chosen.

In the interview, published in video format, Dzavadov speaks candidly about his journey in kickboxing. He reveals how his career developed and offers a glimpse behind the scenes of the sport that spectators usually do not see from the outside. He admits that the world of combat sports is demanding and harsh, but it is precisely this harshness that has shaped him into the fighter he is today.

Dzavadov's story is one of perseverance, love for sport and determination to achieve his goals. He stresses that despite all the hardships he has experienced, he would not change anything about his chosen path. This conviction runs through his entire account – from his first steps in sport to today, when he, as a coach, passes on his experience to the next generation.
