Poetry Days award for original poetry goes to Aleksandrs Barons

Poet Aleksandrs Barons has been named the winner of this year's Poetry Days award in the original poetry category. He received the recognition for his collection "Vientulības labirints".
The book was published by the "Neputns" publishing house. News of the award decision was shared with the LETA news agency by the organizers of Poetry Days themselves.
The Poetry Days award for original poetry is handed out annually to honor notable contributions to Latvian poetry. This year the honor went to Barons, whose collection is thereby singled out among this year's poetry releases as one recognized by the organizers.
