Yellow thunderstorm warning issued for parts of Latvia
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms is in effect in parts of Latvia on Sunday.

The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms, valid from 12:20 to 23:00. Forecasts indicate that heavy rain showers are expected in some areas of Latvia on Sunday.
A slow to moderate west-northwest wind will persist, becoming gusty under individual storm clouds. Maximum air temperatures will range between +17°C and +22°C.
In Riga, occasional rain is expected from midday, with a possibility of heavy showers and thunder from cumulonimbus clouds. The capital will experience a light to moderate west-northwest wind, with temperatures reaching +20°C to +22°C.
