The Inčupe railway stop, located on the Skulte line near Saulkrasti, continues to await promised upgrades. Latvian Railways committed to building wooden platforms at 16 stops, including Inčupe, by the end of last year to facilitate passenger boarding. However, work at Inčupe has not yet commenced.

Local residents who use the stop daily are dissatisfied with the delay. Currently, passengers must board trains from ground level, which is inconvenient and potentially hazardous, especially in adverse weather. According to available information, the construction of platforms will be delayed by at least another year. The exact start date remains unknown.

This situation underscores the gap between promises and delivery in the country's railway infrastructure projects. The Inčupe stop has been a topic of discussion for a long time, but tangible improvements have yet to materialize, causing frustration among the local community.
