Edgars Volskis: Namibia at the Start of a New Economic Era
Namibia is at the beginning of a new economic era, with massive oil and gas discoveries that could more than double its GDP by 2040.

According to commentator Edgars Volskis, Namibia is currently at the start of a new economic era that could reshape its role in global trade. Recent offshore discoveries include approximately 11 billion barrels of light crude oil and 2.2 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
If fully developed commercially, these reserves could more than double Namibia's gross domestic product by 2040, transforming the country into a key player in the energy market and attracting significant foreign investment.
