Eindhoven's Keiron secures €20.7 million to reduce electronics manufacturing costs
Eindhoven-based deep-tech company Keiron Printing Technologies has raised €20.7 million in Series A funding co-led by Invest-NL, DeepTechXL, and Waves Capital, with participation from Ramphastos Investments, ATUM Ventures, Cottonwood Technology Fund, and TNO Ventures. The funds will support the development of its LiFT precision solder paste printing technology.
Keiron Printing Technologies, a deep-tech company headquartered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, has announced the closing of a €20.7 million Series A funding round. The company is developing solutions to address one of the most expensive steps in electronics manufacturing: solder paste printing.
The investment round was co-led by Invest-NL, DeepTechXL, and Waves Capital, with participation from both existing and new investors, including Ramphastos Investments, ATUM Ventures, Cottonwood Technology Fund, and TNO Ventures. This backing reflects confidence in Keiron's technology and its potential to bring significant efficiency gains to the electronics production process.
Keiron specializes in Laser-Induced Forward Transfer (LiFT), a technology for high-precision solder paste printing. Compared to conventional methods, LiFT enables greater accuracy and flexibility, which is increasingly important in modern miniaturized electronic circuits. The company aims to make the process more efficient and cost-effective, tackling one of the industry's most pressing challenges: reducing costs without compromising quality.
With the new funding, Keiron plans to accelerate technology development, expand its team, and scale up production capacity. The company intends to serve electronics manufacturers worldwide, offering a solution that can substantially lower costs and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
