Speeding driver in Jelgava region fined €1,400 and stripped of licence

A driver was stopped in the Jelgava region on Tuesday for exceeding the permitted speed limit. As a result, the driver received a fine of €1,400 and had their driving licence revoked, the State Police told the LETA news agency.
