Elizabete Named Best Poetry Author in Competition Dedicated to Pīters Jurciņš
In a literary competition dedicated to Pīters Jurciņš, Elizabete (real name Ilze Vovka) was recognized as the best poetry author and also received the Tukuma Literary Association's Sympathy Prize.
The portal lakuga.lv has published the latest edition of "Dzejūļi" from the literary competition dedicated to Pīters Jurciņš. This year, authors were invited to submit works in humor, poetry, as well as children's and youth literature genres. The jury named Elizabete (real name Ilze Vovka) as the best poetry author. She also received the Tukuma Literary Association's Sympathy Prize in both poetry and children's/youth literature categories, where she had submitted a prose work.
