Elron raises ticket prices for services within Tallinn from August
Passenger train company Elron will increase single ticket prices for journeys within Tallinn and on suburban routes by five to ten cents from August 1.

Elron, the passenger train operator, is raising the price of single tickets for travel within Tallinn and its suburban routes starting in August. The changes, effective August 1, affect zones one and two in the eastern, southern, and western directions.
A Zone 1 single ticket will increase from €2.10 to €2.20, while a two-zone single ticket will cost €2.55 instead of €2.50. The company attributes the price adjustment to the continued rise in input costs.
Rauno Riiner, head of Elron's suburban services, stated that changes were made in other zones last year, and the adjustment in early August harmonizes prices across all zones. He also emphasized that this will not affect Tallinn residents' right to free travel.
