En Carta Diagnostics Raises €5 Million for At-Home Molecular Tests for Lyme Disease and STIs
Paris-based DeepTech startup En Carta Diagnostics has announced the first closing of €5 million to develop next-generation molecular diagnostics for home use, targeting Lyme disease and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
En Carta Diagnostics, a Paris-based DeepTech startup developing a new generation of molecular diagnostics for home use, has announced the first closing of €5 million in financing. The round includes €3 million in equity led by Blue Forest Ventures, with participation from Ring Capital and existing investors CentraleSupélec Venture, 50 Partners Health, and others.
The company is focused on bringing molecular testing out of the lab and into the home, enabling individuals to easily and quickly test for Lyme disease and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This approach aims to improve early detection and treatment, as symptoms of these conditions are often overlooked or misdiagnosed.
En Carta Diagnostics plans to use the funds to accelerate the development and commercialization of its innovative molecular tests. The technology promises to deliver accurate results in a convenient at-home setting, potentially reducing the burden on healthcare systems and empowering patients to take control of their health.
The successful first closing reflects growing investor interest in decentralized diagnostics solutions. With this capital, En Carta Diagnostics is poised to advance its product pipeline and bring its first tests to market, offering a new level of accessibility in disease detection.
