Niks Endziņš's ex-partners react to his prison sentence
After a Riga court sentenced Niks Endziņš, accused of possessing drugs for sale, to prison, his former partners Elīna Gluzunova and Iveta commented on social media. Both expressed support for the court's decision.

Former partners of Niks Endziņš have spoken out on social media after a court in Riga handed down a verdict in his case on 16 October. Endziņš was charged with the unlawful purchase and possession of narcotic substances in a large quantity with intent to sell, and the court sentenced him to prison. The news was first shared on social media by his partner, Sindija Bokāne.
The current partner's stance
Sindija, who is also described in the source as Endziņš's fiancée, publicly voiced outrage at the court's decision. Together with Endziņš's family, she has vowed to contest the ruling.
Comments from former partners
Elīna Gluzunova, who was once in a relationship with Endziņš, responded in the comments under a video posted by Sindija. She questioned claims of injustice and said the court had relied on facts. Gluzunova believes none of Endziņš's former or current partners is to blame for his actions. She also wrote that if the verdict is appealed and he is released under a different preventive measure, he would still end up back "home", meaning prison. She reproached Sindija for not having been present in the situation and being unable to grasp it.
Iveta, whom Endziņš began seeing at a time when her relationship with Sindija was going through difficulties, also reacted. On her profile she reshared the news of the verdict and added a short remark that karma has power. Later she wrote that she had been waiting for Endziņš to apologise for publicly smearing and slandering her, but that he is egoistic and dishonest, and that in prison he will have time to think.
The ruling can still be appealed, and Endziņš's relatives plan to do so.
