The bakery “Kukul” in Engure has become a beloved destination where people willingly wait in line for up to 40 minutes to enjoy freshly baked goods and a unique atmosphere.
Visitors to Engure this weekend discovered that the bakery “Kukul” is more than just a place to buy bread – it’s an entire experience. Upon entering the town, a long queue caught their attention, signaling something special. Located in a historic building on the main street near the beach, the bakery also houses a small café and a shop featuring local producers and artisans.
The 40-minute wait felt like a return to childhood – people were unhurried, not complaining, but chatting, smiling, and savoring the moment. Almost no one had a phone in hand.
