Equidia: Bubble Pretty Wins Third Straight Race at Compiègne, Focus Also on Auteuil's Quinté+
French racetracks Compiègne and Auteuil, broadcast by Equidia, hosted notable meetings — Bubble Pretty won at Compiègne while Auteuil held its traditional Prix Jean Bart, opening the autumn Quinté+ season.
Compiègne: Bubble Pretty Claims a Third Consecutive Win
According to Equidia, in the Prix The Stomp race (Race 6) held at the Compiègne racetrack on 9 September 2026, the horse Bubble Pretty (No. 8), ridden by jockey N. Ferreira, took the win. The horse waited patiently for much of the race, closed in on the leaders at the start of the home straight, jumped the final hurdle in second position, and then produced a strong finish on the flat to clearly overcome its rivals. This marked the horse's third consecutive victory.
Second place went to Ci Ppo Ra (No. 9, jockey B. Le Clerc), which stayed close to pace-setter Harlem Schuffle for most of the race, overtook it at the start of the straight, but could not hold off Bubble Pretty in the finish. Third place went to Olympic Story (No. 10, L. Zuliani), which raced mid-pack along the rail, closed in at the start of the straight, but could not follow the top two, though it held off the favorite.
The favorite, Game Of Storm (No. 1, K. Nabet), returning from a break, finished fourth — a solid run but without real hope of a higher placing. It was followed by Illaho (5th), Lacokokeldy (6th), Gold Tweet (7th), former leader Harlem Schuffle (8th), and Pickland (9th). Victory Valley (No. 7), which had stayed close to the front for much of the race, fell while jumping the water obstacle (the 8th of 16 obstacles) and was not classified.
Auteuil: Autumn Season Opens with the Prix Jean Bart
Equidia also reports that on Tuesday, 8 September, the Auteuil racetrack hosted the traditional Prix Jean Bart (13:55) — a 3,600-metre hurdle race that serves as one of the opening races of the Quinté+ betting system for the Paris autumn jump-racing season.
In the morning odds, Rock And Roll (odds of 7/1) emerged as the favorite; its trainer noted that its last outing at Clairefontaine should not be taken at face value and that the horse performs better at Auteuil, where it won in 2024 and finished third last year. Loreley des Places (12/1) was cited as an interesting contender, having had a flawless summer in regional racing and finishing third in the reference Quinté+ at Clairefontaine. Kassel Allen (39/1), unraced since April, was seen as a less favored option — its trainer acknowledged the horse lacks fitness and that this start would serve as a stepping stone toward more demanding races ahead.
