The Russian-language channel ETV+, part of Estonia's public broadcaster ERR, will air a new episode of its talk show "Svoya Pravda" ("Our Own Truth") on Monday, 12 October. The programme will look at how a person's position or status in society dictates rules of behaviour, including on social media.

What will be discussed

Guests and experts in the studio will look for answers to two questions. The first is how free people are today to express their individuality. The second is whether the saying that position obliges, meaning that status brings duties with it, really holds true. Because the conversation also covers social networks, it will touch on how expectations linked to status apply to behaviour online.

Programme details

The host is Elena Solomina, and the editor is Ellina Vyalya. "Svoya Pravda" is shown on ETV+ every Monday at 20:30.

What is not known

The announcement does not name the specific guests or experts. It also does not say what conclusions the participants will reach during the discussion. That will only become clear once the episode has aired.
