The Estonian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (EVEA) has launched a survey among representatives of small businesses to determine the key problems of the sector before the Riigikogu elections scheduled for March 2027. The organization plans to use the results in negotiations with political parties.

EVEA President Ille Nakurt-Murumaa stated that entrepreneurs expect the state to reduce bureaucracy, implement predictable tax policies, and cut public sector spending. The association emphasized that small and medium enterprises play a crucial role in Estonia's economy. According to EVEA, about 95% of all companies in the country are micro-enterprises, and nearly 80% of employees work in the SME sector.

All entrepreneurs can participate in the survey until the end of July. After completing the research, EVEA intends to update its economic platform and present prepared proposals to political parties.
