Everton have reached an agreement to permanently sign Tyrique George from Chelsea. The fee is £18 million, with up to £6 million in add-ons and a 15% sell-on clause.

Everton have reached an agreement to sign Chelsea academy graduate Tyrique George on a permanent transfer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The deal is worth £18 million (€21 million) in fixed fee, with an additional £6 million (€7 million) in add-ons. Chelsea have also secured a 15% sell-on clause for any future transfer of the player. George, a 20-year-old forward, was on loan at Everton last season, making 11 appearances. He came through Chelsea's youth system. Last summer, he came close to joining RB Leipzig and Fulham, but eventually moved to Everton on loan in February. This is Everton's second summer signing, following the acquisition of Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough. The player has signed a long-term contract, and the two clubs maintain excellent relations.
