A new haven for music enthusiasts has arrived. Oskars Francis Bārzdiņš, head of the cultural space «Ex Libris», announced the opening of «Klausītava» in the creative quarter «Veldze» during Latvijas Radio's program «Kultūras rondo».

The room invites everyone to come and listen to recordings available on-site or brought from home – from audio cassettes and CDs to vinyl records and DVDs. According to Bārzdiņš, for some it will be a trip down memory lane, while for others it offers a chance to discover formats they have never encountered before.

«Klausītava» aims to foster a culture of listening to physical media and provide a space where people can share music and films beyond the digital realm.
