Fabio Silva's late strike rescues a draw for Borussia Dortmund at Bayern Munich
Portuguese forward Fabio Silva scored an 89th-minute equaliser in the Bundesliga match at Bayern Munich, keeping Borussia Dortmund unbeaten. Afterwards he admitted that his future at the club had been uncertain in the summer.

Borussia Dortmund drew away to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, Germany's top football league, thanks to 24-year-old Portuguese forward Fabio Silva. He scored an equaliser in the 89th minute, which kept Dortmund unbeaten this season. The match, known as "Der Klassiker", is the traditional meeting of Germany's two leading clubs.
A goal from a first touch
Silva's first touch protected the ball and gave him just enough room to send a shot into the far corner. It was his second goal of the game. Dortmund's first equaliser had come from striker Serhou Guirassy. Speaking afterwards, Silva said forwards need goals in order to feel good.
An uncertain future
Silva was once seen as a wonderkid of European football. At 18, English club Wolverhampton Wanderers paid £30m to sign him from Portuguese side Porto. In the Premier League he scored only four goals in 62 appearances, spent loan spells at Anderlecht, PSV and Rangers, and showed more promise at Las Palmas in Spain. He joined Dortmund permanently last year, but spent most of his first Bundesliga season on the bench.
In August he did not rule out leaving. After a conversation with the coach and the sporting director before the transfer window closed, he stayed and scored in his first two Bundesliga games of the season. In the past six weeks, however, he has made only one Bundesliga start.
Partnership with Guirassy
Silva sees himself as a cross between a No 9 and a No 10. Last season he scored three goals while Guirassy scored 22. This season the pair have started three games together, and Dortmund have won all of them. Silva stresses that he can be Guirassy's partner rather than his back-up, and says he feels he has more to give the club.
