FCSB and Vardar Win Ahead of Matches Against Latvian Clubs, Austria Crushes Opponents
FCSB and Skopje Vardar secured victories in their domestic leagues before upcoming games against Auda and Riga, while Austria Vienna triumphed 5-0 in the cup.

FCSB Continues Winning Streak
FCSB Bucharest, the successors of the legendary Steaua, won 2-0 away against Csíkszereda (Miercurea Ciuc) on Sunday, starting the Romanian Superliga season with two clean-sheet victories. Both goals came in the first 16 minutes, scored by Montenegrin Risto Radunović and Denis Politic. FCSB dominated with 22 shots, 12 on target.
Earlier, FCSB lost 2-3 at home to Latvian side Auda. The return match will be held in Riga on Thursday at 19:00.
Vardar Ready for Riga Clash
Skopje Vardar also secured a win, defeating Bregalnica Shtip 3-2. Dimitar Danev (27′) and Bosnian Goran Zakarić (81′) found the net. Vardar, who started their North Macedonian league season with a 2-0 win, will face Riga on Tuesday at 20:00.
Austria Dominates in Cup
Austria Vienna, who recently played against Latvian clubs (a 2-0 win at Sloka), thrashed the 1883-founded Vienna Sports Club from the Regional League 5-0 in the Austrian Cup round of 32. German Johannes Eggestein scored a hat-trick, while 20-year-old Sanel Saljić and 18-year-old Hasan Deşişku (left in Jūrmala) added one each. Austria and Liepāja will meet on Thursday at 21:30.
