This weekend's Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza will include a special tribute to legendary German driver Michael Schumacher. Former world champion Sebastian Vettel will drive a ceremonial lap in Ferrari's historic F2002 car on Sunday, ahead of the main race.

On Saturday, another former Ferrari driver, Rubens Barrichello, will take the same car out on track. Both drives mark the 30th anniversary of Schumacher's debut with the Ferrari team.

Special livery

Ferrari has also revealed a specially designed race livery dedicated to Schumacher for this weekend. The car features seven stars, symbolizing Schumacher's seven world championship titles.

Vettel himself is a four-time Formula 1 world champion, while Schumacher won seven titles across his career, several of them with Ferrari, cementing his status as one of the greatest drivers in the sport's history. The Monza tribute is part of a broader celebration organized by Ferrari to mark the anniversary of its shared history with Schumacher.
